Rancho 9 - Facilities and Activities
Our driver takes your luggage to your Master Suite, where you shower amid jungle vines. Slathering on some complimentary sunscreen, you walk through the Grand Palapa to survey our 25,000 square feet of living space. You note the pleasing use of textures: hand-crafted tiles in the Gourmet Kitchen, polished marble floors in the Suites, yoga mats atop the exotic wood floor in the Meditation Salon and, all around, exquisite art bathed in natural light. The 400-year-old fig tree looks down as if to say, "Relax. Welcome home."
You could, of course, check in with your office right away, since we have wireless access and international phones throughout the compound. But this is Mexico. Relax. We highly recommend you postpone the available Apple TV, HBO, web and videos in the Game Room and opt instead to enjoy a libation from the bartender while you lose your cares by the infinity pool and hot tub, or ask our guest services manager to arrange for tee times at the Jack Nicklaus courses.
Tour the Grand Palapa, with its built in brick Italian pizza oven, drink in the 180 degree view of the ocean (the best view in Punta Mita), sit on the outdoor veranda or wander through the marvelous gourmet kitchen with its massive refrigerators and freezers, its chilled pantries and its state-of-the-art water filtration system that serves all the rooms. In the dining room, think how much fun you could have with friends at a table that seats sixteen hungry people.
After all this decompression, if you still need to shed some issues, we have a foolproof 20-step program. Twenty steps--that's how far it is to the beach. It's nearly impossible to worry about anything when your toes are wiggling in white sand.
